Using Pie Charts to Explain Our Lives (June 6, 2015)

Fact: pie, and pie charts,┬áare vehicles for expression. Like I said the other week, *most* of the time, I try to use pie to express pleasant things–like a love for humanity. But pie is equally excellent for expressing less noble/more real life shit. Because hey, the not-so-pretty sentiments and the straight-up mundane matters too.

Sarah and I have spent a lot of convo this week just going back and forth about the ordinary aspects of our day-to-day living (as two besties living in different cities are bound to do in their texting life). We found that in talking through some of those things, even the more boring and frustrating topics became less boring/frustrating and more like something to laugh over together. Sometimes, you just gotta get it out.

And because clearly, pie says it best, we bring you pie charts to explain some of the average junk that takes up our brain real estate and prevents us from noticing what day it is in the course of a typical week:
